Habitat Seafloor Mapping & Bottom Classification Surveys
Data collection with multiple sensors help to identify different types of seafloor conditions and other important habitats, such as coral reefs, eelgrass beds, and shellfish beds, and can be monitored over time using various mapping techniques. GIS mapping including seabed features allows us to aid in location designation for artificial reef construction, assess environmental impact from construction projects, and aid in coastal reclamation developments.
